I'm about but I have been a bit busy with Ebay trying to get some extra pennies in for bills.
Plus there seems to of been a few topics that I don't know much about like Chillies.
Don't mention taking up knitting to me. Han has got some on the go thanks to Grandma. She starts off with 10 stitches and at my last count she was already up to 18 stitches. So I have to use my limited knowledge of knitting to sort it out.
Before you wonder to much she is knitting scarfs for all of her cuddly toyssigpic

Busy time of year for us - a ridiculous number of family birthdays and parties at this time of year all the way through to New Year and then it will go very quiet after that. Off to my sisters birthday today so it never ends. Love seeing family but can't stand having to get all dressed up to eat somewhere fancy. Not my bag.LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

That jumper is so funny. I tried doing dog jumpers last year, total failure! It also cost more to buy the wool than buying new jumpers on eBay.
I feel like i am being more active on the forum but really does seem there are less people to chat away to.
Soon people will be getting ready for there winter sowings and it will be all talk about tomatoes and peppersI grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

I log on two or three times a day and read threads that spark my interest, but i have carpel tunnel syndrome and my right hand feels completely dead apart from pins and needles. You cant actually feel if you have pressed a key or not causing lots of errors. Luckily I am left handed so I can still just about wright.
The main cause I suspect is that its a quiet time in the garden and people just don't have so much to say.
If you do want more activity put me in charge of a thread on lunar planting.photo album of my garden in my profile http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...my+garden.html

I'm still about, just!
Just been so busy at work!
Was put in charge of a large distribution for one of our biggest clients, the one where all ear's and eye's are on, and takes about 7 weeks to complete, but now complete it is!
In fact I did that good a job of it, been put in charge of the upcoming one in December!
Now why did I not see that coming!"Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad"

As plants have their dormant period maybe we do as well?
Mind you my dormant time seems to be extending even more the older I get.
I have however, started thinking about where things might go next year as yet again it looks like we will be moving within the next 2-3 weeks.
As council tenants we have to abide by their whims and fancies but THIS time is looking more hopeful.
Downside is the garden at the fingers crossed place is even smaller than the one we have now so.....I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. Thomas A. Edison
