Thought today would be a good day to start clearing and digging over the veggie bed which homed toms, peppers, cues, aubs, squashes and bind-weed etc., Got all my tools in my wheelie trug, wrapped up my back nice and warm, and off I went with great gusto and feeling good about digging. Then, it happened.........................

visitors came back
all the veg had been eaten by a plague of locusts
the spade broke
