Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Excellent. I've got a 70th birthday coming up for a family member and I love the hamper idea so I shall be doing that one. There are lots of lovely things you could put in one and they don't need to cost the earth if you shop around. I can't afford much so I'm crocheting a scarf as well.LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

If she is a real doggy lady how about a gift from Nowzad - they are the only rescue centre in Afghanistan and some of the stories are heart breaking. They do really good work with dogs as well as cats and donkeys.
Here's the linl just in case

Other than that my only other suggestion is a fit and flirty 40 year old.Last edited by Lumpy; 31-10-2015, 02:53 PM.I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. Thomas A. Edison

A potted plant like for instance, a lily in flower, that she could have in the house, and then put out into the garden afterwards, plus garden centre vouchers. Can't go wrong with vouchers for a gardener, and it's often nicer for people to make their own choice. What one gardener buys, another may hate, or indeed, already have.Location - Leicestershire - Chisit-land
Endless wonder.

by Marb67I have just given it a real pruning before it comes into leaf in the hope of getting some regeneration and the tree not having to work as hard getting water and nutrients higher up. If this doesn't work I'll replace it next year with something else.
Ps, why when I upload an image do I get...1 PhotoToday, 01:40 PM
