I hope everyone had a happy day yesterday and continue to do so today. We really pushed the boat out yesterday and opened TWO tins of spam. My granddaughter (age two last week) was the star of the day and is attempting to say every word we do. She managed the word presents quite quickly. We took in a few old people too, but the police retrieved them and took them back to their care homes, the helicopters returned to base a little annoyed. No Christmas spirit there then.
Morning all, hope you all had a lovely time, although by the sounds of things you did. Glad to hear your grandma is on th mend Lisa...enjoy your Christmas with your parents when they arrive. We are off to my parents for boxing day dinner. Hoping dad won't spoil things for mum, he has not been in good spirit since he came home from hospital so we will see. Brother is cooking so mum enjoys the day! Hope you all have a lovely Boxing Day.

I've used the left over turkey my mum cooked(she would of just binned whatever was left) to make turkey soup and turkey curry. Will freeze these so I can use them next week when the OH is not working.
Happy Boxing Day everyone.
We spent much of the day sorting through things at late FILs. That man had so much stuff!
I've had the job of going through the garage/workshop and found:
6 rechargeable drills
4 cord drills
5 drawers of assorted screwdivers
Metal case of so too many sockets and spanners to count - and impossible to move due to the sheer weight.
4 laser spirit levels.
12 saws.
6 electric sanders.
5 angle grinders.
2 large boxes of discs for above.
Large collection of gardening tools.
Recheageable strimmer.
Recheargeable Hedge trimmer.
corded Hedge trimmer.
2 electric lawnmowers.
Large propane space heater.
12 sets of drill bits.
Large air compressor.
And thats where I gave up for the day. There's still loads of drawers and cupboards that I haven't even opened yet!
What do you get if you divide the circumference of a pumpkin by its diameter?
Pumpkin pi.
Evening all. Finally got on line. Hope everyone had a good Christmas and Boxing Day/ St Stephens Day. We had a quiet Christmas Day and have been over to my mom and dads today. Kids are finally in bed but I don't think they are asleep yet.
Got £65 in garden vouchers for Christmas. Planning when to hit the garden centres with them. Think they are burning a hole in my purse at the moment
Have a good evening everyone
