Morning all, raining again. It hasn't stopped for about 48 hours now. Can't walk on the lawn it's so wet and muddy, even the dogs are sinking and they are only tiny! It's starting to get a bit depressing. It's warm too. Now you know why they call us the 'dour Scots'!!

a not dour Scot here but we didn't have a drop of rain yesterday. Spitting rain when my better half left for work though and the forecast isn't too hopeful but hey ho, I've got you lot for company and it's dry in here

I am in a grump today, someone phoned twice this morning and both times i just missed it before 7:30am, who phones at that time and does not leave a message, been panicking about it since.

I often get calls at that time Lisa, usually cold callers so I have this on my phone, it's great. Don't know if you have android or iPhone (assuming it was your mobile they rang & not a landline.)

I'm waiting for the builders to turn up as I have some instructions for them from my son. Then I have to go and choose carpet and find a present for said son.

Oh, and I need to ring gas company to find out when they're coming to relocate the gas pipe.

Good morning, a better day here. Very windy but dry so I am off to do my hours walk.
Plenty to do in the greenhouse later on so I m looking forward to that. I havnt been there for the last few days due to the non stop rain.

Jay, thats exactly the same weather we had for the past couple of days and the skies so leaden and grey.
never mind, it cant last forever, we have dry and sunnt this morning so hopefully its on its way to you. ☺

Nicos don't forget your water tight bag for the rough sea,would be awful for them not to supply them,sounds a bit rough,i only got to go on a ferise wheel a few turns and am off,

Don't envy you the trip Nicos. Thank goodness every time we have been to France on the ferry the waters have been calm...me and boats don't go!! (or Ferris wheels either lottie!!)

Enjoy your break though, I think between your kitchen and Hibou you are in need of a good holiday! Enjoy!

Afternoon all. Just got back from allotment. Soil is nice and fine down there but very soggy.
Think I have just volunteered to start a seed swap down there. Darn it. I only enquired if they had one and now they have.
