  • Morning yay the sun is out - finally! Can't remember the last sunny morning I woke up to.

Great. Going to get outside today and enjoy it while it lasts.
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

        • Morning from a sortof sunshiny South Wales. Must have been a heavy dew last night - everywhere is sopping.
Hoping for garden time today - if it stays dry.

            • Good morning,
Got to go to the chicken man, might have to buy some more broccoli seedlings as a snail decided munch on mine and now there are just tiny bare stalks. It left its poo as evidence, cheek.
To the horrible bank which only has one desk and 30 people queuing at any one point, so that will take atleast 2 hours.
Then back to hospital this evening, bet we are in there for hours as well.

              Need a holiday.

              Have a good day x
I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

              • Morning all, sun was out first thing this morning but it has now gone into hiding. Looks like more rain! Not sure what's on the cards for today other than a visit to the supermarket! Hope you all have a lovely day. Batten down the hatches though for the arrival of Abigail.

                        • Lunchtime, munchtime all Enjoying a festive mince pie after a stroll down town this morning. Started on the Christmad shopping buying up silly stocking filler stuff.

Spent a pleasant hour outside in polly picking off the mouldy looking leaves and the slugs. Radishes look like they've come on a bit not sure when to pick them so shall leave until they're a wee bit bigger. Swiss chard has come on a bit more too - love the coloured stalks on those. Hope they taste as good as they look or will be disappointed

Coffee anyone? I'd offer you a mince pie but they're all mine!!!
