Good morning all. We have a dry morning here so off out to collect the last of the leaves. Lots of little bits to do today so that should keep me busy.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Morning all, rain during the night but it has stopped now and it's a bit brighter. Sun lasted until late afternoon yesterday which was lovely. Turning into a moaner here I know but yet another night with virtually no sleep so I'm tired today. Good news is that son is off work this weekend and has offered to puppy sit so we are off to Cheltenham to visit our daughter and son in law...really looking forward to it!
Letting the train take the strain this time.
Hope you all have a lovely day.sigpic

Nicos, I've had a headless chicken week!
Today is for chilling - literally - washing, card making stuff sorting out and not much else
Had enough of this wind and rain malarkey, if they appeared seperately it would be much better for my washing
Have a great day folks, I am still home alone. Only another three days and hubby will be back - to the jobs I gave lined up for him lolNannys make memories

Afternoon all I just about got through the shopping and hideous queues - in my head I kept singing songs like Rescue Me and Help!
How great to be back and in the warm and dry. That's it till next year - not doing any more shopping unless it's either the garden centre variety or the online variety which means delivery driver gets cold and wet but not me.
Good thing was we picked up a pizza so it did save me having to cook for once. There is usually some silver lining.LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

Same here Marie i hate shopping unless it is food or garden centre shopping.
I do exactly the same Nico´s try really hard on dieting or should i say my healthy life style change then go away for a long weekend or week and put on a few pound....How how how is it possible, 3500 calories to make or lose a pound and i know i never eat more than that in a day!!
Just got back from the beach and we are all exhausted, not making dinner just going to have some popcorn and watch a movie.
Kitty is loving a bit of fish i bought her, her stomach is swollen so doing really goodI grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

Mmm ... crumble is a favorite pudding. Can you pass me some over please Nicos
So nice to meet some fellow peeps here that also dislike shopping. I am in a minority here at home. I must be the only female in the family who doesn't get the whole shopping for new clothes, handbags, make-up and other bits and pieces. I can't think of anything more boring.
Who mentioned popcorn!LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.
