Morning all, icy for a while during the night and then rain...no snow at all and it's lashing down just now! I know that because I didn't sleep very well either...maybe some truth in the full moon theory Nicos? Hope you are ok AP and not too sore. Morning all,

Still a bit early to be reading this painful stories, i am wincing at the thought of falling down stairs like that. Atleast it worked out for the best. Hope you have a quick recovery AP.
Forgot to tax our UK vehicle and ran around doing it this morning but i think they give you a couple of days leeway, surprisingly
I heard that damn elephant again last night but now thinking its the neighbours cockerel, OH says that i sound crazy
Poor Dusty was up 9 times in the night to rush to the loo, i did not feel sorry for him at the time as i dragged my myself out

To those who have fallen on the ice and fallen down the stairs.
To those sick animals and peeps who have to get up in the night to attend them.
No rain here this morning, a bit on the windy side and temp. showing 13deg, and this on Dec. 1st.

I needed the gas pipe moved about 6" to the other side of a wall. So they came and looked and have decided to replace the whole main back to the road. They've had to cut the gas of 2 of my neighbour's, one of whom is a hairdresser who works from home 2/3 days a week, so she has a temporary supply. At the moment there is a windy pick digging up the path down the side of my house. I'm supposed to be painting but I've decided to take the dogs for a walk instead.

We've had to relay part of the tiled floor this morning ( not me - I stayed away!!! )
The first radiator is going in as we speak.
Typically, the pipes are still in the wrong place!
Looks like the 2nd one will go in tomorrow,

I'm making curtains!!

Evening all. Well I didn't go to bed I ended up falling asleep on the sofa. Don't feel much better having a day of doing nothing.
Very cold here again so have put the heating on for a bit.
