Mad busy in work and with Christmas stuff, so time is flying by...

On here whilst I stop for coffee as I got to the top of the stairs and promptly forgot what I was up there for.

Ah yes, dustpan and brush.

Next doors fencer has plugged his tools into my electric so the backdoor's wide open and the dogs are barking at him and I need to go out for some sticky tape.

Just got back from town and have decided to have a mince pie and a mini kitkat for lunch, feeling guilty now as i do not normally have lunch.
Picked up my olive oil and a bit disappointed thought i would get 25-30 litres but only got 23, rehoming some but still plenty to last us the year. OH is being mardy as saying it was not worth all the time harvesting for 151 kilos for that small amount of oil, still i will get him helping me next year

How fantastic Lisa! Most of us can only dream of being selfsufficient in olive oil. Remind OH how lucky he is to live somewhere warm enough for olives - though I'm sure he doesn't need reminding

Afternoon all, thank you for all your kind thoughts...you really are a bunch of really kind folks!

We had a dry day today and the sun peeked out for a while but it's getting dark now. Hope you all had a lovely day. Off to see the Jersey Boys this evening with my MiL and SiL, so that should take my mind of things for a few hours. Going for a meal first so that will be nice.

Still on jury service. Have spent 4 hours each day on buses to get to court and back. In between times have waited between 1-3 hours only to be told the trial isn't going ahead for various reasons. Not needed tomorrow, but have to ring in the afternoon to see if I am needed next week. What a waste of time!

My dad had to take our cat to the vets last week. We thought he might have broke a bone because his front leg didnt feel right and he wouldnt put it down. So he went to the vets and had a xray. Spent nearly £200 to find out what was wrong and to have meds. Turns out the little rascal has only a bite mark and day after he started to walk on all 4s!

I think he just wanted a day out haha.



I've done my theory test 5 times now and keep failing by 1 mark. So annoying!

Good evening Folks, started foggy this morning, and never realy cleared up, busy doing Christmas stuff today, and then picked up four of the grandkids from school, Thursday is usualy a stressfull day for OH and myself, but today was great, no fighting or anything, ( and the kids were well behaved also)when my son came home I had to give him a hand to move some ikea boxes that were being stored in my house, and just as we were putting them into the car the rain started and stayed on till we were finished
Well I wish you all a good night and hope you have a good weekend. I was looking through a cupboard, the one I have to clean out, and come across some test my OH had, she is lucky Iam still with her she only got an F for sex........Goodnight

Hope you get what you are looking for...not easy to nip out and do a bit of last minute impulse shopping is it?

Today I shall mostly be cleaning ( I can finally see the floor in parts of my lounge!) whilst OH cracks on with the tiling.

Then it's a trip to the vets an hour away with the quick trip to !kea en route.

Just got to get the OH a pressie at some point and then my pressies are sorted!( big relief!)
Apart from booze and fresh stuff I now have all the Xmas nosh sorted too,

Morning all,
Would love some pics of the boat trip, i have this perfect little image in my head which i bet i am wrong.
Cannot believe it is only a week to go, 8 day till my family arrive and i do xmas though
Goodluck at the vets Nico´s i hope they get to the bottom of this.
It is meant to be lovely day today so hopefully will sit on the terrace and plant lots and lots of seeds, might even get a few naughty tomato going......no Lisa wait ...... i have about 150 onion seedlings to go out and some are starting to yellow at the tops so i must do that first.
