Good afternoon Folks, the rain has stopped at the moment, but very blustery. After telling the OH to be careful with one of those slicer blades the type that has three blades circling around it, I put my hand into the box that its kept in and sliced open one of my fingers, fortunatly not too deep as the bone stopped it, well I have had lectures about how I should take care with these things, as every time I do something using that hand the cut opens up and bleeds quite a lot, you would think I was 6 instead of-- and a half. Well I wish you all a good afternoon, as I now have to get ready to pick up grandchildren, and I think I am going to run out of blood before OH runs out of lectures. Good day

Evening all,what a funny yet hectic day,DR confirmed by sight,defo shingles,now on the pills,he had to give the funeral a miss,where has this day gone i do not know,after dinner i recone a glass of either baily or advo,drink to our friend and neighbour of several years,

I do not like shots, shorts, spirits (including the ghost type) anything unless it is sweetened like amaretto or a baileys and i do not have a sweet tooth so i always stick to the vino (and beer) and am on glass numero 2 it has been a very long hard day. Well it is christmas time. At the doctors before 8am, who does that!!!!!!

I would like to thank the staff of Grow Your Own Mag. for the parcel I received today and will enjoy reading the books, and thanfully its not moolie radish you put in (I never seem to get them to grow) I have attached a photo of contents. I also thank those people on the Vine that put the names forward, and also keeps, the Grapevine such a good place to come to.

Evening all, went out shopping and when I came back my blow away was half way down the garden. Terracotta pots smashed to bits, cuttings from geraniums crushed, earth everywhere and plant pots strewn over the lawn. Tidied it all up, by pushing the blowaway and contents against the wall of the house to chuck when we have a dry day and hosed down the paths! Came in to make a coffee...you've guessed it, another gust of wind and wham, down it came again! It's still on the ground. To think all those storms we have had and it has stood strong, two gusts of wind and down it came! That just topped off a very stressful day! Hey ho, that's the way of the world I guess!

Dont worry Jay, once you get it seccured against the wall I think you will have a chance to relax, as I dont think we will have a dry day this side of the New Year

Well it's going in the bin in the New Year or whenever we get a dry day. The wind has completely destroyed the blooming thing!

Back down to Rhyl tomorrow for Christmas. A day earlier than planned because don't think we will get off the island after then as the weather is expected to be quite bad. So if I don't get chance to drop in before, have a Very happy Christmas.

Back home after a hectic day at the panto.. Grandkids returned to their parents and this granny and grandad are pretty much shattered, and broke.
Having said that, we realise how lucky we are to have them, but we are also getting older and in need of a bit of extra energy.
Hopefully they will carry these memories.
