I didn't do it all in one go so it's difficult to time it. About 2hours? Just to decorate. I started it a couple of months ago. I did 5 for presents so it makes it easier and it's not a cake that needs to be neat so it's a good one to do!Originally posted by Nicos View Post
It's fruit cake. 8inch square sliced diagonally and sandwiched together. Fill in gaps with spare marzipan. The /\ the points on the sides cut off to make the sides off the house. The worse bit is those cut off bits are wasted but OH eats a lot!

Okay, dinner didn't turn out as planned. The duck aint cooked proper. I read what It said on how to cook it. So we had to eat the mash, roast potatoes and veg so it didn't go cold. Still waiting for the duck to cook :/CarrieComment

Good evening Folks, I thought I would be too busy to come on tonight, but got the deliveries completed quicker than I expected, and now time to settle down and have a read.
