TheOH always has a difficult time getting me anything. Several months ago I spotted a weekend sugarcraft class taught by a sugar artist that I very much admire (I have all his books) so I thought bu@@er it, anyone asks me what I want for Xmas this year it has to go in my weekend kitty. I've booked my hotel, the boys can look after themselves .

We don't need the alarm clock with the cat waking us up early yes back to school and I will be rushing around like a looney in approximately 10 mins after my cuppa. Morning everyone
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

Morning all. Kids are back at school here as well shame I'm going round a supermarket with my mom, always loose the will to live by the bread isle. Wouldn't mind but its about the second isle in at the supermarket we go to.
Thinking of Christmas presents Scarlet I've asked for some black rubbish bins to store compost over the winter and keep reusing it like several Vine members do. OH asked why I can't ask for normal Christmas presents like other people. Haven't told him the propagators are coming out over Christmas/ New Year to start my chillies off
                    Have a good day everyone

                      Mornin Flo'nall !

                      ...and we have mist too!

Another crazily busy day ahead chez nous.
                      Hibou update....
Well, she's certainly better in herself, but...not much change in her eye.
We're going to email piccies to the consultant we saw last week and Bob over there if we have to.
The lumps on her neck and in her mouth are much the same too....so not very happy about it really.

On an upside...she was leaping round the room during the night doing a Simon's cat as we'd forgotten to top up her food bowl before going to bed!

                      Simon's cat...always brings a chuckle!!

                        Laughed at that.

Sorry to hear pusscat not making progress. I know it may be a drastic remedy but don't be too alarmed if removing the damaged eye is floated as a solution. My gran had a one eyed cat - twas named Nelson, and he survived to a good age without problems. One of my customers also had a one eyed cat - twas named Uncle and he too had no problem. I'm not suggesting the eye should be removed. Just saying only having one eye isn't a problem for a cat. Give her a huggle from me please.

I've really missed my puss cat this last week and its a few years since she died. When anyone in the house was poorly, she went into nursemaid mode.

Good mrning all. We did have for earlier but its burned off and we now have another lovely sunny morning.
Going to the beach later to gather some seaweed and have a nice walk.
After that i hope to dig the seaweed into my garden.

                              AP ....Awww...x

I'm sure a kitten would help you?

I had pneumonia many years ago and spent a couple if weeks indoors/ in bed. We bought a little kitten at the same time and he slept on me most of the time I was resting.
The bond we had after that was incredible!
Sadly he got run over when we first came out here....broke my heart.... but Hibou has certainly filled the cracks he left , and more!

Nicos, it's the heartbreak bit that was really difficult for both of us. Our puss was 18 and we had her all her days except the first 6 weeks or so. Some folks say it's only a cat but she was as much part of the family as any human would ever be. I still look behind me in the kitchen in case I trip over her and doing simple things like opening a tin of tuna evokes memories. She was there like a flash.

Anyways. no more cats for us
