          • Not just any old Friday, Friday the 13th .....

Sun is out again but much colder. Very stormy last night. I was convinced I'd wake up and see the polly cover blowing around garden. Thankfully not.

Have a great day everyone. I'm off for coffee at garden centre, favourite Friday treat, and then will see about tidying the garden up. Looks a mess with all the leaves now and dead flowers.
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

                • Morning all, sun is up this morning but it's cold! Abigail was a bit of a wus and decided not to show up last night! Not sure how bad it was further north though. Hope all is well.
                  Have a great day!

You can have mine as well Bren. Weeks yet before I'm allowed to do any lifting

                          • Good luck Susie! The last time we visited my daughter in Cheltenham we visited Birmingham for the first time. Usually it's just off the train at New Street and straight onto a train to Chelts. This time we decided to have a wander round the city. We were certainly impressed by the city centre and had lunch down by the canal which was lovely. Hope you have a good shopping trip Susie...enjoy!

Shopping not one of my favourite tasks but when it's got to be done it's got to be done. It's not often I've been cutting grass in December but looks like this would have been a year for it this time around. I either stop when the grass stops growing or when the mower wheels start marking the ground because it's too wet. Customers like stripes but not muddy tram lines

                              • Our lawn is a quagmire we have had so much rain. We can't even walk on it as it's so wet, you can imagine what it looks like, haven't been able to even lift the leaves so far and it doesn't look as though it's going to dry up any time soon. That sun I was talking about earlier...it's gone and it's torrential rain again!
