Not a bad day here after just a bit of tidying up to do out doors after yesterday evening winds but luckily no damage.

SP I'd make jam then the curtains and lastly housework or even leave the HW until you feel like doing it.

Morning everyone Yesterday we lost our internet for most of the day and even when we got back online it was almost unusable due to such slow speeds. Thankfully seems OK today. And the sun is out.

I've just finished my morning round. So glad to be back home for a bit. I am cold. It's cold and raining out there.

I need something that keeps me warm when I am outside but also keeps me cool when I am in peoples houses. The houses I go to is like a sauna in there! And it's no good having warm stuff on when your there. No wounder I have not lost any weight hahaha

Morning All

Well Barney got rid of the last of the leaves on our trees and very kindly piled them up at the end of the garden . My day will be spent putting them through the shredder to speed the breaking down process.

I think we were fortunate in the south as it appears it tracked further north of us and we just had the edge to contend with.

I hope everyone got through it OK and are looking forward to the predicted frosts this weekend?

Talking of frost, I froze some Brussels last month and took some out of the freezer last night, within 30 minutes I had white fly in the kitchen, surely there couldn't be from them?

Good morning all, still wet and windy here although not as bad as yesterday.
I ordered a garden tool box from B&Q about three weeks ago and they rang me yesterday to let me know it was in the store so off to collect that.
I will now be able to put all my tools and pots in this and free up some space in the greenhouse.
This will give me an excuse to check out the garden section as well.

I know what you mean Carrie about the heat. When I go to my mum and dads who are in their mid eighties it is absolutely roasting and all they do is complain about the cold!
Just got a message from my daughter who lives in Cheltenham, long night but everything is fine but she had to go to Liverpool this morning with work and it's a 'disaster' there, to use her words! If there is anyone on the Vine from the Liverpool area, hope all is well with you.
