Kitchen update.....

I'm going to try and paint the window and door today...OH is at work so I need to crack on!
We're hoping to start putting the units up before weekend!

Hibou says hello and says she's feeling a lot better thank you!...still a way to go...but a lot better! ...what a difference a week can make eh?

Morning all, nice to see you Hazel! I'm tired this morning too Scarlet, it's so dark I think my brain thinks I should still be in bed. I'm going to try and get a few leaves lifted before the next rash of rain showers hit. Hope you all have a good day and glad to hear Hibou is much better.

Morning all. Going shopping today - no not Xmas shopping. More paint, paint brushes, paint rollers, TV's, and looking for a sofa bed as I'm turning the office into a "snug"/spare bedroom. The boiler arrived yesterday, the units turn up tomorrow so I have to have the kitchen painted and ready to put them up at the weekend.

If Prince gets any more white paint on him he'll look like a badger or a skunk, he just can't keep his nose out.

Morning all on this drab morning.
Banking duties this morning and a sneaky go in the 99p shop.
Got a new tv at the weekend, and then had to get a new freeview recorder box yesterday because ours did not work with all this new technology that we bought.
Flippin expensive couple of days, hence banking duties

I am also very tired, i keep putting the telly on in bed now we have one in here and i can't stop watching. my own fault.
Its very overcast today and chilly, should go out and plant all the plants i got yesterday but might wait till the sun comes out.
Think i am going to go put the kettle on again

Yey!!!...second coat of undercoat on window!
( looks like it'll need at least 1 or 2 more)
yup- dark brown stained wood previously...it took 5 coats on a different window and a couple of top coats

going to tackle the door in a sec....
( think I could do with a brew first though!)

Good afternoon to you all, a dull damp day here so not doing much at present,thinking I will go to the greenhouse and tidy up .. . .... I have thunk on it and no am no gony da that. 3 coats undercoat on window. 2nd on door done- now need to do 2nd on t'other door...all ready for glossing first thing in the morning.

A load of leaves lifted...still loads to go so definitely off to Screwf*x to buy a BM leaf vac...my back can't take this anymore!
