Mornin Flo'nall !
Te he....I couldn't resist!
I'm suddenly feeling very festive and excited!
I'm booking a flight for my mom to stay for 2 weeks over Xmas , and a ferry for my son and girlfriend with their dog later on today....the last of the main painting and filling is being done in the kitchen today and the temporary wall between the kitchen and lounge can come down.....then tomorrow we can start making the base units!
Yey!
(I'll probably be filling them as soon as they are made! )
Once that's done I can spring clean the house and get it back in some sort of order instead of having kitchen boxes all over the house!
...and of course , then I can get the Xmas decorations out! ( hopefully in a couple of weeks if all goes well!)
Lots of hard work of course but ever so exciting!

Good morning
Have a safe trip SP, hope everything goes ok.
So windy here, it kept us up half the night, nice and sunny but do not fancy being blown about.
Baking bread today, nothing like fresh homemade bread, yummy.
Have a nice day grapes xI grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

Morning all, safe travels SP! Hope everyone is well. If the rain stays off I may get the rest of the leaves lifted. Going shopping later not a job I relish but it's a necessity.
Could I pick everyone's brain? Does anyone have experience of a fused spur in their home and do you know if it can be converted to a socket? It was put on the wall to take a TV but the TV in question has a transformer so can't, I think, be hard wired into it.
Hope you all have a great day whatever you are doing!sigpic

What is the amp rating of the fuse/MCB switches it off ?He who smiles in the face of adversity, has already decided who to blame

I've no idea where it comes from BB and can't get to see the amp rating of the fuse as the TV is on the wall in front of it. TV is plugged in lower down and so the wires are trailing down the wall and we wanted to tidy this up. Think I will play safe and get an electrician in. Thanks BB.sigpic

Hi Nicos, it sounds as if we're both at the same stage. The kitchen arrived this morning so it's screwdrivers/allen keys at the ready tomorrow. I might then be able to get the best part of my lounge back, not totally tho' 'cos the cooker doesn't get here until the 8th Dec."I prefer rogues to imbeciles as they sometimes take a rest" (Alexander Dumas)
