It's times like this I miss having my horse ....crisp morning walks , crunching ice in small puddles on the path and canters across frosty fields.
Warm breath and steam rising from him in the sunshine
Warm bran mash with a blob of treacle for him as a treat...I can smell, hear and see it all now!

Good morning all. A very grey and stormy start with heavy rain on the way. In fact the whole weekend is to be a washout.
Just waiting for the rain to start. Very depressing.

Just got my things ready for tomorrow's Xmas Fair so the rest of the day I can now concentrate on the kitchen.

OH has taken the building rubble from the front of the house to the tip- so the whole place has suddenly got the feel that it's all achievable in time for Xmas!

Good morning everyone,
Lovely day here, lots of small jobs to be done like always so potter potter potter.
Must pull out the last of the pepper plants in the garden, still flowering but i really need the room and still have ones in the PT, feel like feeling a few more days just so i can say that i had peppers in the garden in December
The xmas fair was a disappointment did not even have a glass of mulled wine or mince pie all looked a little suspect........ so we left went and played american pool, i lost all 3 games and had some wonderful fish and chips. Poor Mrs L did suffer for over doing it and was sick all night. Luckily he starts his week off from today.

Was brave and went to plot, picked 2 small but perfect Savoy cabbages and a few leeks damaged in the storm, BUT........... Some cabbages have turned into beautiful cauliflowers, am very pleased!
