How lovely you all are, feeling so exhausted after a very long day but everything went well and i do not think i will need one in the future. Thank you all for your support.
Going to maybe have a little look around the threads but might leave for this holiday weekend.
I accidentally stubbled across a new garden centre and bought our first xmas tree ever (together) been 15 years and a grump, i do not like cut trees but this one is in a pot so will plant it out after xmas or re pot and put inside for next year. Now need to buy all the trimming or try and make some

Well, it's blowing a hoolie here and the rain is horizontal...storm Desmond has well and truly arrived! Hope no damage is done during the night.
Nice to hear of all the Christmas Trees going up, I love putting mine up...maybe next week.

Beautiful morning here have to pick the last of the olives only 3 more trees to go.
I haven´t noticed those guys on either, maybe Marie has been dragged shopping and she has got lost
it a holiday weekend here everything closed Sunday and Monday so avoiding town as it will be evil.

Good morning all. Well, as promised, storm Desmond arrived and we are being battered by wind and rain.
An indoor day today. OH has a friend who is in the newspaper business and he has just delivered four into us, so it will be a lazy morning for us.

Morning all, yes Desmond is doing his best here too! It has been raining all night and still is. Trouble is I just got the boys groomed and they like to go stand in the wind and rain so I guess the nice white dogs are not going to be white for long are they!

I need to get off my backside and do something. I stayed in bed late the boys first official driving lessons this afternoon and I need to pot on my Christmas tree into a bigger pot. I bought it last month (I felt very proud, sales assistant said it was the first of the Xmas season trees she had through the till ) but I've had it outside and it is pot bound, it's drying up quick and it keeps falling over. I'm going to get it in a bigger pot and give it another week before I move it into the dining room.
Right, off outside to face the wind!
