Good thanks...just been a Domestic Goddess all day
Hardly made any impact!
All downstairs windows ( bar the kitchen) are now sparkling between the smudges!

Just put a plumb crumble in to cook cos I forgot to have lunch!

I noticed I've still got some English marigolds in flower near the south side of the house. ...lovely surprise!

Think we have to take her for surgery next week to sort out her neck abscesses .
Main worry is the eye. No change in 3 weeks. Inner lid still inflamed and gunky....even with 4x /day care.
we've followed instructions 100%, and the last lot of antibiotics ( usually given for bone abscesses!) run out in 10 days.
Keep yr fingers crossed please- we're getting pretty worried.

Think I might ask for a C&S ( culture and sensitivity to see if there is still any infection).
no one has suggested that for some reason???

Apart from that- she's as loving and playful as ever.

I really do not want to worry you, but have you tested for Leukaemia, I was worried that one of ours had been infected but the vet reassured that she was fine as the abscess she had healed with 10 days (really massive) Injuries take forever to heal or never if infected.

One of our cat (recently passed) came to us in a very bad way, we tried all sorts from the vets, strong antibiotics etc but nothing worked, then the vet said she had this type of vitamin something injection (5ml ish) we mixed with sterilised water (100ml) and gave him 5ml or similar a day till it ran out, it did miracles, he was on deaths door with Leukaemia and he managed to live for 2 years with us and only was taken out by bl@@dy poison. It did cost 50e for this stuff but if you want i can ring my vets (close relationship with them) and find out the name and you can have a look.

My mum's cat has to go for a scan tomorrow. He is hobbling along on 3 legs. Looks like he has been hit with something because his front leg doesn't feel right. He has to stay in tomorrow. Hope it's not to bad.

Good evening Folks, the day started of wet and got steadily worse, now have strong winds and rain, nice to see Lisa will be celebrating her wedding anniversary, my OH and I have had four happy years together, then because we were curious we spoiled it by getting married, just joking, its coming up on fifty years of marriage and wouldn`t change it, so enjoy, and as we are heading to the time where we may over eat and pile on the weight, if you are one of those people who will be thinking of losing weight, dont bother, I have been thinking of that for the last six weeks and I havent lost a pound. Well I wish you all a very good night, and if anyone is wondering what age I may be, I was married five years before I was born....Goodnight

Hi folks, just got in. Our shops Christmad night out.
Just sat through not one, but three racist comedians. It was flippin dreadful, and they knew it.
Food was nice, and because the whole place except our table had gone home, we had the disco and dance floor too ourselves.
Ended up brilliant, and a few of us will pay for in the morning.

NannyS, I know what you mean about racist comics. There are fewer and fewer places that will book them nowadays, so you tend to get a big concentration of Bernard Manning / "Chubby" Brown types in the same place. Once the first one comes on you know you're in for an evening of it. But I'm glad you made a success of the night out, I suspect you only went so you could spend time with your friends, so mission accomplished!

You might pay in the morning but it will pass. You're only young once!
