Can't get my get up and go kicking in.
Huuuge motivation of getting the decorations up, but I really, really don't want to be cleaning.

Maybe some Xmas music might get my ari$$ into gear?

    • Afternoon All Heavy rain again here, so I'm spending some more time and money on line. The Golden Girlie Room is full of presents already, but I can't seem to stop. I've just personalised something for my youngest son and said "whatever next?"

      • It's pishing down here as well Flo Mrs. BB has decided we are having a proper meal at lunchtime rather than this evening so I have opened a really nice bottle of red I feel an afterfood period of tellybox watching in front of the woodburner is on the cards

        • Evening folks! Hope you're all well. I have some light domesticry to complete before a glass of parsnip wine and a bit of baking. I'll do a batch of melting moment biscuits, I think.

Since BB has kindly returned the ball of string, I might stray into youtubeland later - I've just caught Dana on one of the threads today, and in the absence of other suggestions could hop back there as a starting point.

          • Good evening all.
Set out to go to my Pitch and Putt party this afternoon in the rain. Got about half way there and I had to turn back due to flooding.
The traffic lights were malfunctioning, the traffic was bumper to bumper and the last straw was the floods on the road. SO, I turned round and came home.
Took all the Christmas decorations down from the attic and me and grandson spent the afternoon putting up the tree.
Productive day out of the shambles.

            • Evening all

Late start to the day after a very late night last night.. There may have been some dancing done
Headed off to get our second tree, always get a real one and put coloured lights on them.. I prefer coloured ones but herself likes the plain...
Put some lights up outside too and a few decorations..I do love Christmas

So going to have some dinner soon and relax for the evening... Fire is lit so time for a cuppa
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

                  • I am so, so cold. My only heater has packed up and they're not testing the new central heating until tomorrow, and we haven't had a frost yet.

I can afford alternative heating so I really feel for the OAP's who have to choose between food or heating and those out on the streets.

                    • Good evening Folks, was quite a nice day here today, but had to go visiting old friends, so nothing done in the garden, and while driving there discovered why my Good Lady was not too happy, aparently there was someone snoring last night, but I never heard it, but have told her the next time she hears it give me a shake and I will go and have a word with whoever it is. I also am in a bit of a quandary, I made some sandwiches for the both of us, and when I took OHs through to her she asked me what I was after, I just gave her a smile and held her the sandwiches and cup of tea, and rather than saying thanks it was, no chance you`ve had it. either she can read my mind or I have forgotten, and I dont no which!
Well I wish you all a good night, and for those of us with a bad memory use INCORRECT as your password that way you always get a reminder if you put in the wrong one. Goodnight.

bramble, in my misspent youth I had attended Pitch and Toss parties, but never a Pitch and Putt, can you win, or lose as much money at yours as I could at mine
