Good morning
Thought I would just pop in to say hello. Letting the OH have a long lie in as he was up half the night poorly. We are not moving on anywhere today so hopefully he will get rested. Going to have a lovely walk on the beach with the boys, its their favourite place.
Hope you all have a wonderful day xI grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

Morning all, it's 9.30 am and still quite dim out there. Not looking what the weather is going to be like, not going out today.
Daughter and GG have invited themselves to dinner today, so that's progress, I hope. At least I can retire upstairs if miss snippey makes an appearance lol.
Roast beef and all the trimmings. Sounds better than it is cause I hate cooking beef. No confidence at all with it.
Have a lovely Sunday GrapesNannys make memories

Roast beef.....mmmm...!
Send me a bit will ya?
My MIL used to make the most delish roast beef ever.
She slightly undercooked it ahead of time , wrapped it in foil and left it to cool down wrapped in foil for 30-40 mins whilst the roasties and full sized Yorkshire pud went in to cook.
Always turned out delish ."Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

Morning all,
Hope your OH feels better soon Lisa! Enjoy your walk on the beach with Dusty and the boys!
VC, wouldn't mind dry and mild...it's just we have had soooo much rain it's nice to be dry even if it's freezing!
rary, how did you manage to get +5?
It's winter wonderland here, freezing although the fog has cleared. Off down to rary's area of the country today for a couple of days. No internet just my phone so will only pop in now and again!
Have a lovely Sunday all...liking the thought of that roast beef Sally...enjoy!sigpic

Morning all, its mistydamp here. Not very inviting. The pups are sitting by the window, looking out at the garden and wishing it was spring. Only a few more days to the Shortest Day and then spring is not far behind

Morning all. It's a dull, dark, damp, dank, drizzly morning here. I'm bored enough to start joining in the "Fun" threads so I guess it's time I stirred my arris and did something. Maybe I'll get the Christmas decorations out of the loft and start putting them up, it's a bit early but it'll have to be done sometime.
Enjoy your Sundays, everyone!

Artnoon.
My topic for the day is Christmas cards!!
Do you have ScoutPost where you live?
Here, we can buy Scout postage stamps for 25p in local shops and leave our cards in a "postbox" in the shop. Then they're collected, sorted and delivered by the Scouts. This area covers Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. Its a brilliant idea and I wondered whether it was UK wide?
Anyway, I have a dilemma. Can't decide where to put all my Christmad cards - I have 4 or 5 if you count the one from the local councillors
Before you decide I'm totally friendless, I stopped sending cards 10 years ago. I make a donation to a local hospice instead. Seems better to me than buying "charity" cards where only a fraction of the price goes to a charity.
Anyone want to share how many cards they have so far?
