Another dull damp day here today. Luckily it's perfect weather for a trip to Ikea for bedroom furniture. I may be some time...

Well another productive day. Most of the grocery shopping done. Mince pies and sausage rolls in the freezer.
Spent at least two hours this afternoon washing and drying a hugh crate of Lego which my grandkids no longer play with.
Hubby spotted an appeal in our local paper appealing for Lego for The Make a Wish Foundation, so I got the job of cleaning it up as it had been a bit dusty from being stored in the attic.
What a tedious job.

I've had a great day- got everything bar one doorknob at !kea, collected mom from airport and had a lovely meal and giggle this evening.
Amidst the mess, Xmas festivities have finally begun chez nous!

Working down the page - hello, Jay. A break from the internet every now and again is supposed to be very good for the brain - although I wouldn't know, as I haven't tried it for longer than I care to remember. I've only just got the discipline for 'no screens in bed'.

You sound v organised, Bramble, although I do have Lists made out to cover the next wk or so. Well done on the Lego - it'll be very much appreciated, I'm sure.

I'll pass on the donuts - yellow stickers or not, VC. I'll have a cup of hot choc instead soon and beddy byes. Domino cat is 'nil by mouth' since 9pm as he's going in to have his teeth sorted out tomorrow I don't fancy explaining to him why he can't have his customary supper, late supper, midnight snack, and feeling-peckish-at-4am's'.

Don't feel to sorry for him - he's had an tuna steak for tea. You can feel sorry for me as I am woken increasingly frantically for supper, late supper, midnight snack, and feeling-peckish-at-4am's......

Good evening (or should that be good morning) Folks, it was a cold cloudy but dry day today, and when its cold my legs get sore, but still took the dog a walk, then had a lazy day,and snoozed in the big chair as I didn`t need to pick up the grandchildren to day, thats why I am posting at this time, but will be off to bed shortly. So I will wish you all a good night, and remember when you get older and are standing at the top of the stairs or standing in the middle of a room wondering what you were going for, its not a failing memory, it natures way of giving you exersize to save you going out in the cold. Goodnight
