Not sure what temperature it is out but it is cold to say the least. Clear sky but no sign of the sun yet

Morning all from a cool yet very sunny Nestland, spring must be on it's way. Have a nice one whatever you may decide to do.sigpic“Gorillas are very intelligent, but they don't have to be as delicate as chimps -- they can just smash open the termite nest,”

Morning Grapeys.
I've just watched the sunrise over Somerset. Changing from white to a great yellow ball, lighting up the garden. On days like this, I can see why the ancients (like Snadger) worshipped the sun and moon.
Its a glorious morning and I'm feeling very Spring-y
Hope you all have a spring in your step too

Morning all - blue skies here too VC. It was like this yesterday morning for a while and then the wind got up and the heavens opened. Little Libby and I did not go and feed the ducks - we would have been blown away. Trying to motivate myself to get some clothes on. Plenty to do, just don't especially feel like doing it .... I'll be alright once I get started Have a good day everyone, especially JanieB - you are having a very hectic time. I was robbed of my debit card last week - some very clever and ingenious thieves emptied my current account. B@rclays were magnificent. Hope you get sorted too.

Morning all,
i was laid in bed last night watching a documentary called tomorrow food, (very good a must watch on youtube bbc) when the phone went at just past midnight, it was my mum and i said what the matter thinking of course the worst when the phone rings that late. My grandma has been unwell on and off for a while now but still goes on as her normal grandma self, but yesterday she had a fall when a bird hit against her front door, she has broken her hip and is now in hospital, having surgery today she will be in for the whole of christmas and she loves christmas. The worst part is that Lincoln hospital is in shut down with some virus so she is not allowed any visitors not even on christmas day She is so scared and just wants her family around her, it was the last thing that did in her sister was when she fell and broke her hip. trying to get a mobile to her, but she is useless with technology, only just learnt how to use a DVD player.
Off to pick up a couple of presents for people and get some potatoes for chitting, they are just shelve bought supermarket potatoes but they are organic 1/2 price and i planted them last year and they gave me my best spuds.
Have a lovely last day before the madness commencesI grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

Oh Lisa so sorry to hear about your grandma, the poor lady.
The same thing happened to my mother and the hospital was also on lockdown due to a winter virus.
But do you know, she made it through, came home and proceeded to get back and walk without a stick, and this was when she was 93.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Good morning all, clear bright sunny morning but a lot colder.
Lots of little bits to do but Nothing big except making a ton of sandwiches for my son and staff who dont have time to go out to lunch.
He is a barber and this is his busiest time of year.
Have a good all, wont be long now.

Morning all, quite chilly here this morning but the sun is out...woo hoo! Lisa, I'm sorry to hear about your grandma, hope all goes well for her. I think VC has come up with a lovely idea...have another Christmas when she gets home.
Off to do a major clean up in here this morning...two dogs and a back garden like a mire don't go! Daughter and son in law arriving tonight, looking forward to seeing them, although they are spending Christmas Day at the outlaws!
Have a great day all...see you later!sigpic
