Ooh forgot to tell you - my two youngest grandsons are mascots at the Owls match tomorrow - they are massive Wednesday fans so they're really excited. Pity it's not televised.

Morning All
Hope you all had a fun day yesterday and you got the gifts you hoped for?
Off over the plot today for a couple of hours to work off the excesses of yesterday including a few rather large glasses of malt!
The OH and son are hitting the shops.....good luck to them
I hope your grandsons have a fantastic time Flo
Whatever you're plans, enjoyLast edited by Greenleaves; 26-12-2015, 07:03 AM.

Morning all,
Woke up in the night to a slight whimpering, thought it was just Dusty dreaming next to our bed, when i woke up this morning i put the kettle on and jumped back into bed as its so chilly. I could hear this whimpering again so i opened the blinds and there is the biggest fox i have ever seen just sat in my driveway, just sitting here. What the hell do i do with that, hope the chickens are ok. I think it has gone into the field next door as my boys barked, it was limping. I have a lot to do today and do not have timefor poorly foxes. arggggggg, i am putting it off but i really should go and check.
Time to get on with making the feast, my parents are in the air so the countdown has begun.
Hope you all have a lovely day wether you are sale shopping or eating leftovers xI grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

Much easier day today.
I am home alone. Hubby and daughter are off on the mission to get Grandson to the airport.
There is sooo much turkey around, gammon took more of a hammering yesterday
I intend to cut it all up today and freeze some.
There will be turkey curry sometime this week lol
One last big dinner to cook tonight and Christmas will be done with.
That's me done, how was everybody else's Christmas? Good I hope.
Have a lovely day my friends, whatever you are doingNannys make memories

Morning all & a Happy Christmas Lisa, glad your grandma is on the mend, it's a worrying time when elderly folk take a fall. It's a nice mild breezy day for a change, the garden is like a quagmire with all the rain so won't be doing owt there. Have a good day whatever you may decide to do.sigpic“Gorillas are very intelligent, but they don't have to be as delicate as chimps -- they can just smash open the termite nest,”

Good morning all from a wet and grey Dublin..I hope everyones day went well yesterday.
Today is our wedding anniversary and we are married 51years. Its hard to believe because the years have flown by.
Family will call by later and we will have champagne and nibbles.
Have a good day all.
Lisa, I hope you have a great day with your parents and I am glad to hear your granny is on the mend.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Happy Boxing Day everyone - Enjoy your leftovers
Many congratulations to Mr & Mrs Bramble. My parents and grandparents were married on Boxing Day too.
Good news about your Granny, Lisa. Its surprising how quickly they're back on their feet after a hip-op. Sorry though if it means cutting your parents visit short. Hope your chooks are OK. Poor fox.
Have a great day, whatever you're doing. Its just another nutty day here.
