        Wouldnt really appeal to me.
My son has a celtic design around the top of his arm.It is just a black design and I have to say I quite like it.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

I won't offend other grapes by saying what I really think about tattoos - other than I'm not a fan.
My OH has two and I respect her right to do as she sees fit with her body, so if she decided she wanted a few more I would keep a diplomatic silence and leave her to get on with it. She knows my extremely strong views on the subject, but she's as equally strong willed as me and will do as she wishes - I'm pleased to say.
On a recent visit to Skegness, Jimmy Carr commented on twitter that he felt left out since he was the only person in the town without a tattoo!
What do you get if you divide the circumference of a pumpkin by its diameter?
          Pumpkin pi.

I have 5. One on each upper arm, one on each shoulder blade and one on my calf with x wifes name on, a marriage that lasted for three months after courting for 6 years, strange old life innit .
Anyway, all were done when i served in the Navy, the first when i was just 17.
Although i dont actually regret any, if i lived over i woud steer clear.
All of mine can be covered if wish and that was intentional and in a day when "sleeve" tattos are popular im constantly trying to drum it into my 14 year lad that "at least i can cover mine"

I'm sure there are Grapes with piercings and studs etc.
I'm always curious to know what happens to nose studs when you have a cold? Don't they get all clogged and snotty?
How does one eat with studs through your tongue?
I'm not curious about studs in any other locations - they're your business!! Don't really want answers to my other questions either

I have two tattoos. One on my back(has a devil face, which I didn't realise at the time) and one on my wrist.

Not sure what they are so I will show you a picture. I liked the look of them that's why I got them.

No they don't get clogged up. Haha

The metal piece that is inside your nose is close to your skin so nothing catches on it.

The first time I had it pieced I had to eat soup for a week before the swelling went down. Then after that I could eat normal. Until I swallowed my bar ooops! Long story cut short I lost one of the balls on the stud and forgot to take it out when I was eating. It was a good job I was already in the hospital visiting a friend.

2nd time I had it done I could eat anything I wanted because It did not bother me.

Thanks for showing off your ink cariann. Was the one on your wrist uncomfortable when it was done? Don't know why but I always imagine that to be quite sensitive spot.

I have to agree with you VC, I think nose studs are quite revolting, at first glance it is as though the person has a bogie stuck to their nose.I strongly advised my daughter not to have a tatoo, but she did, she had her birth sign tattooed on her hip. Trouble was they used the wrong birth sign which serves her right. Then my son had his girlfriend name on his wrist about a month before they broke up! Now he has had to cover it with a bigger tattoo, its horrible. Tattoos are just too permanent and in my old fashioned opinion say something about the wearer, which is less than complimentary.

Many years ago, swarovski done a pack of two - belly button crystals. Just saying, as I thought they were a nice option that added sparkle but weren't permanent or going to go infectious and crusty. They were only a tenner. Bought for SiL, I have never had a flat stomach to get away with anything like that
