My son has a full sleve tattoo on his right arm.

It's not because he is a thug or anything , it's because his best friend died in Afghanistan and he was supposed to be there instead of Ted. It was the luck of the draw who went on their corporals course first.
He has the inside of a Cathedral with loads of small red poppies falling from the ceiling - a life of a friend not to be forgotten.

      That sounds beautiful lumpy.
A difficult day for your boy and many others tomorrow.

My big brother has two full sleeves inked inked with beautiful designs including Tudor roses, the goddess Freya and the best Green Man I've ever seen'
Now, I may be a teensy bit biased but my big bruv is one of the kindest, most heroic and thoroughly decent people on the planet.
A London paramedic for 25 years I doubt that the hundreds of people those arms have pulled from wreckage, from the tunnels on 7/7, whose babies have been delivered by them or relatives comforted by them will have judged him for his tattoos.

Surely we should no longer judge people by the colour of their skin...even if it's red and blue and green?

A friend of mine an ex-para as a tat of a parachute that takes up the whole of his chest.

One thing I can understand is the ladies who visit a certain tattooist in the US. Amy Black from Ohio helps ladies who have suffered a mastectomy, the demand is so great she has now established The Pink Ink Fund to help those ladies without the financial means to have treatment.

The tats I can't stand are the ones where peeps have had their eyeballs tattooed .
            They just look wrong.

And no, no tats on me
It took me til I was 40 to be brave enough to walk into the salon to have my ears pierced!

            Total wimp here.

The ones I have I made sure I liked them and would not regret them later on in life. Even tho it did take me about 5 years to realise that my back tattoo had a devils face :/

I do want another tattoo but not decided what I want and where I'd have it.

I will never tattoo a fella name on me. But I would tattoo my childs name on me(when I do have a child)

I've never heard of this. It gives me the willies even thinking about it!
My sister has a tattoo on the inside of her bottom lip. Gross and what's the point? No one will ever see it unless she turns her bottom lip inside out. Which is such an attractive look

Right, I'm off to g@@gle eye tats. If you don't see me again today it's because I'm feeling very queasy and mildly repulsed.

Have had mine done for nearly 20 years...still love it. Tattoos are a step too far for me. I've never understood the attraction of really large tattoos, and some of them look very ill thought through, but then again it's also none of my business.

I'm not going to show you any links, but there is apparently a new trend.
Can't remember what it's called, but instead of inking a tat the shapes and piccies, they are gouged out and left to heal with a raised scar- bit like African tribal markings.
They do look interesting when healed, but inking tats seems child's play compared to having those done!!

A friend bought himself some of them wear once contact lenses - they were very bright, mulicoloured circles.

He went to the supermarket last Crimbo eve afternoon with them in.

The Q's were horrendous but when he joined one and started looking at those in front of him with his demonic stripy eyes most of the people suddenly remembered that they had forgotton something and left him right at the front.

He was laughing as he did not have to say a word.......

Oh and if any of you ever get chance to watch it there is a short 10 min film that won an award at a serious film festival.

It's called 'Needles and Pins' and is about body piercing - I dare you (especially the fella's) not to squirm when you see it.

The one thing I have never really got (I don't dislike it or judge anyone for it) I just don't get the appeal is the stretch hole piercing type things. I am sure it has a name, just don't know what

It's for people who want to be pirates so they have somewhere for the parrot to sit!

I agree though as I can cover my tats what do you do when you have huge baggy ear lobes.

I suppose the only way to correct them would be surgery.
