Dorrrrr.....you lot are....well.....brilliant.
The fact that me a SJ both live in Lincolnshire is a mere coincidence.
On a serious note THANK YOU ALL for the good words but I will be piggin glad when it is all over.
Did I mention I can turn the tap on and get hot water out without having to get up at 4am every morning to turn the immersion on?
Still trying to figure out a plan of action with the 'girls' but I am sure they will comply with anything I have planned as long as the bag of worms is big enough.
Thanks to the council being VERY aware of H&S issues the back garden has been turned into an empty wasteland - good for plotting and planning but so good they removed the path between the back door and gate.I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. Thomas A. Edison

Thank you so much. We now have an absolutely massive workshop, as well as two garages to store the boxes in.
The Banties were esconced in one of my sheds on the lotty til their home was reassembled - I brought them back yesterday afternoon and they seem quite happy. Unfortunately the cat has not coped quite so well and has taken to living in our bedroom on my dressing gown snd refuses to explore, although I'm sure thats just a matter of time.
My step-daughter hates it - wifi not arriving til Tuesday and the place is so old!!!
We need a complete re-wire, repointing, re-painting and a much larger bathroom, plus about 6 mature trees need to come down, so a tree doctor needed.
On the plus side, beautiful high ceilinged victorian rooms, a spacious conservatory and a private drive - which needs about 10 tonnes of gravel putting on itWhat do you get if you divide the circumference of a pumpkin by its diameter?

Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

I'm not an enormous fan of moving - interrupts time I could be at the lotty, but gaining a workshop big enough to keep a double decker bus in has eased the stress somewhatWhat do you get if you divide the circumference of a pumpkin by its diameter?
