I put literally anything - fruit, veg or meat - left over in a curry in the slow cooker which many people think I am strange for. I think it's just using stuff and avoiding waste. Perhaps brussel sprout and banana curry isn't always a good idea though

Not an unusual combination but...........Many years ago 2 mates and I went camping up in Snowdonia we were hitching so travelling light. There is a beautiful mere about 3 miles from the road so off we went in the dusk, pitched the two tents, got the bags set out and then set up ready for an early breakfast so we would get an early start on the rocks.

That's when we found out that between the three of us we had bought ..................1 large billy. breakfast was a 8oz can of baked beans with 6 eggs stirred in, bread and butter.

Never ever tried this before but for some reason just decided to slice a banana and eat it with HP brown sauce. It was delicious. I'm definitely having this again
