we are surrounded by colours all the time. So I was wondering what's your favourite? Not an easy question to answer, is it? I love autumnal colours. I'm not a big fan of pink , but who can say no to a bunch of lovely sweet peas. I love a bright blue sky and Aqua blue sea. But I would never paint a room blue in my house. I ware lots of bright colours ( when I'm not gardening / mucking out /fishing). But I have a dark soul ( if you believe in hippy s..t ). Getting there the long way round. My favourite colour is purple

Like I said, some time ago............what's your favourite colour?

Fine, I will go the more direct route.
VC what's your favourite colour? I'm going to send you a little something
    ( if it gets there)

      patience girl patiens .

I'm fond of lilac/violet type colours and really not fond of most greens. Light blues are fine as well as very dark navy types but not the in betweens. Fickle or what eh!!

        Difficult choice

I really like pink but I wouldn't paint the house in pink or wear it - but I like getting cute things in pink like stationery and nice smellies etc.

Not many colours I don't like except dark purple and that's because I overdid the purple and black gothic look as a teenager and now I can't stand it.

LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

Reds my favourite colour, energising & warm. I would never paint a whole room red,but have used it on some wood work in my gym/spare room & pale pink walls. Decorating rooms is important because it can really affect how you feel, green is a friendly colour, white & blue are cold colours whereas yellow & orange shades are warm. Wearing yellow is said to give a person more confidence, wearing green is said to be an approachable colour, wearing dark blue below the neck is supposed to be unattractive to men? Purple is a lovely colour,in a vase purple & cream are beautiful peaceful colours.

I used to think mine was blue, but when i look around everything seems to be red, and my choice is red over anything else i normally buy.
Bright red roses or red gladioli.

I have always been drawn to the colour blue, don't know why but that's it for me.

SP, I saw your question last night but wasn't awake enough to answer it!! Not sure that I am now.
I have different favourite colours - that's the problem.
If I had to choose one, like you, it would be the blue/green colour of the sea in sunshine or that endless blue of a summer sky. My kitchen is duck egg blue.
I like yellow and orange because they're sunshiny but I wouldn't wear them.
Like purple (African violetish) but find it difficult to match. Red too.
                  Not too fussed about green.
Hate grey, fawn, beige and all the wishywashy colours! They're just boring

Having spent too many years decorating other peoples houses with poorly thought out colour schemes, I have become very appathetic about colours in general

Ive been asked this a few times over the past few days from my little un mostly, she tries to get me to say blue but my fave is green. I wear teal green but I always have an apple green room in the house. I will be painting my bedroom green soon so we will have two gren rooms

I like blue and yellow but really I like all colours, I'm not mad on brown but love things made out of wood and wood is brown so I have to stick with liking all colours

I agree with craftymarie - I seem to buy 'things' in pink but would never paint a room pink or buy pink clothes - I actually love grey when it comes to clothes! Does grey count?
