Mine to mate. The Stones are a great listen and as for Queen some of their stuff is fantastic. I guess some people just do it for us.

Even more depressing than the programmes are the commercials pushing overpriced over 50s insurance, loans at astronomical rates and funeral plans!

My PVR is useful for zapping through the ads.

I know I'm a TV snob, but I only tend to watch BBC channels these days - the ads on commercial channels send me loopy, plus the quality of ITV programming has gone downhill so much.
I used to be in broadcasting and helped set up one of the first community TV channels and even our tiny budget offerings in the early days had much higher editorial quality and content than most of the drivel on ITV these days. Why would anyone want to watch a game show that is basically shove 'alfpenny for heavens sake.
During the day I listen to loads of Radio 4. Theres always something interesting and/or thought provoking on, plus of course Gardeners Question Time.

I have a weakness for Ice Road Truckers when I'm not at work (ie today), and I watch some of the drama stuff on iplayer that OH doesn't like but I do.

Well we all have different tastes. Thats what makes the world go around.
if it interests or amuses you, enjoy.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
