I may abstain this year as I promised the rear end of the panto horse that I would not embarrass myself AGAIN.

So in hope of a calm and restful time I shall restrict myself to.....

To go back to the premise of a temporary opening whilst Nicos is unaware. Who wants to sit on the norty step when she gets back.

I do wish I could do emoticons ... evil grin.

Oh, and I'm not sitting next to VC. I don't fancy competing with her pointy stick!

Psssst folks, it's not written in stone that we can't open till 1st December. It was opened on 19th November in 2013 by guess who. Yes by Lady Nicos herself I'm off to polish up my pewter tankard

Its an extending pointy stick, Janie; nobody is safe
Just one thing that worries me............................Nicos' stick is even pointier than mine

So can I sit in the middle with you and Nicos at each end. I s'pose it depends on how many others are there as to how safe I might be! However, if you two are also on the norty step (nutterators) you would be a bit out of order to use the pointy stick on the rest of us. Another grin. (simperingly friendly).

I don't think Nicos would be on the Norty step as she's a goody goody gumdrops, but I would most certainly be there if I "borrowed" the key to the GR without her permission -especially as I have no idea where she keeps it hidden
Does anyone know where it is?

A straw might work. But it does make problems with costumes in the panto. Ah! we're talking about being there early. OK a straw would work. It has the advantage that Nicos wouldn't recognise me Grin.

But that assumes that we all have stomach muscles that are tight enough to lift a barrel - I'm more flappy than abbie.

Which panto are we having this year as I want to start making a suitable costume out of soggy beer mats?
