I didn't want to come across as mocking any of the resident 'nutters' on here.

The Spanish built to keep the heat out in the summer, all floors are tiled, need warm slippers.
It is ok when you have the fire going the house retains some heat but you go away for a couple of days and it is colder inside than out. brrrrrrrrr

ps i love my uggs, they are so worn out and should really go to the bin, want to try and find some fake ones, not the brand but not sheep skin.
My Sister has the same issue, and she moved to Spain o escape the cold lol. Whe we last visited for Christmad, we noticed the gaps, as the wind was on the front of the house, and was blowing the curtains into the room. We slept in three layers of clothing, and had all the spare blankets on the top of the duvet. Mental! I must point out that I'm not a cold person, either? Lol

Mad? Me??? You must be thinking of someone else
Bubblewrap has so much potential in the garment line.
A "waistcoat" under a jacket, "sleeves", "leggings".
I've decided not to try bubblewrap drawers as the popping when sitting down might be mistaken for summat else
How about a huge sheet of bubbles on the bed? It would be so warm but light. Who needs a duvet when you have bubblewrap?
Or sit in a bag of bubbles when watching TV. If the programme's rubbish you could pop your bubbles - or a dog on your lap could pop them for you.
I could go on ...............but I'll spare you

Perish the thought! Nasy plastic sweaty stuff - that would make my eczema unbearable.

We can't sleep with ghe bedroom radiator on, somwe leave it off, but have the door open. When it's really cold, well, we have two Golden Retrievers, so we just let them in.

This handy hint is dedicated to Norfolkgrey who sent me a parcel of seeds cocooned in bubble wrap.
                              Thank you NG,
When will I learn to keep my big gob shut? I just read this post out loud to my hubby.

Guess what he is looking for now!!!
