Home made Christmas family hampers

Maybe archive storage boxes...places like Staples sell them?
They come in different sizes.

You could cover them in burlap of Xmas paper to make them prettier.
The are pretty sturdy and brill for storing stuff in the attic etc afterwards!

I use the heavy card boxes or orange crates from Lids. If they need covering I use brown paper.

Should be relatively easy to make from pallet wood?Hope to get a start on them tomorrow after work.

I've already ordered two sheets of shrinkwrap clear polythene and red bows (£4.99) along with shredded red crepe paper (£1.49) so now all I need to concentrate on is making the boxes.

Oh, and i nearly forgot, sourcing something to put in them of course.

Up til now i have homemade goose berry jam,Chilli jam,blackcurrant jam,strawberry jam and pickled beetroot.
I have bought some ginger wine essence and sugar and will make a bottle of non alcoholic ginger wine for each box as well.

I'm getting there, slowly but surely!
