  • Let the transformation begin!

This is what I'm dealing with!
Yes, it's a pretty big mess for such a small area (more photos on my blog in the next few days if you're really nosey lol) but I'm going to get it cleaned up and looking lovely before winter really hits us.
It's not the biggest area to work with growing veg wise but I would like to also add a few pots to other parts of the garden and...if I'm really lucky...a greenhouse for my birthday in April (although this is dependent on the paths and patio getting re done and of course monetary funds)

I've got a week off work at the moment so I'm hoping to get out there at some point in the next few days and pull the majority of the weeds and sweep up and the re-asses.

I did at the beginning of summer but had to give it up as it was too much work with new job :-( so back to just working the home garden

This was a lot easier to do than I expected! The beds have been weeded and simple dug/turned

Next is to lay some newspaper down to suppress any more weeds that try to come through and maybe chuck some well rotted manure on to give them a bit more depth when I dig it all in come Jan/Feb.

I've got some garlic that's ready to put out but I'm tempted to put it in some pots I have spare as I'd really like to give the beds another good dig before spring.
