Places for us gardeners to visit!

Well I've got a free day on Thursday and I'm planning to go to Westonbirt Arboretum for a quiet morning to walk the dog and enjoy the trees. It's about a 30 minute trip off the M4 J17 if anyone is interested in a good day, it's also got a great garden centre with a fab selection of potted trees and a coffe shop/cafe if anyone is interested...
I know there are a few grapes that like to visit National Trust gardens etc too...so please share and let us know which are your favourites for a day out.

Westonbirt is beautiful especially in Autumn with the leaf change.
Haven't been there for years though.
I'll have a think about my favourites. Maybe we should have some Grape days out next year

Westonbirt is lovely and not too far away from me. I would love to meet other grapes there but I'm up to me armpits in DIY and Christmas at the moment. I feel guilty taking a coffee break and posting on here especially as I took the day off yesterday and then slept until 8.45 this morning.

I enjoyed Hidcote when I was there but its a wee bit far for me to get to it, and its the same with most of the gardens in Scotland, thay are all a fair bit to travel to, although Greenbank Garden is close and enjoyable to walk round
