    Soooooo much less stressful

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Whilst they are not fancy modern gadgets I would be lost without

      car
      kettle
      washing machine
      pc with internet

p.s I haven't missed the microwave for 3 years. Hubby wasn't sure at first but I don't think he notices anymore.

it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

I could live without a microwave but it makes life so much easier...hot milk without the dirty saucepan, warm up the cereals, defrosts the meat, makes lovely carrot cake, starts off baked spuds, melts the butter for cakes in seconds, makes lovely chocolate ganache.......

Would have to be food vacuum packer, such a space saver. My tv remote is pretty high on the list too

Having lived in one room for the past 2 months with virtually no gadgets I can categorically state the washing machine. My one foray out to wash some clothes and bedding cost me a lot of time and money. Launderettes are few and far and it doesn't help that when any close their websites still exist on the Internet.

I want one of those but they cost a fortune! Was yours pricey?
Also, how big are your logs to start?

                              EDIT ..... http://arrows-uk.com/heavy-duty-elec...e7c917d1199ff7

My wood burner takes lenghts about 14"-16", staight grained oak at that length is easy at 10" diameter, with the help of young Tom lifting & turning we have done 20" + diameter but it needs tuning over to the opposit side & a second push on the button, after itits halved it's back to single push.
I think there are pic's/vid's somewhere, will ask Mrs.BB later if she knows where they got "filed"
