I'd like a potato peeler that works and is comfy to hold not much to ask but I'm still after the 'perfect' one.

I have one that's not far short of 30 years old which is brilliant but looks really scruffy. Have tried to replace several times but they've all been either useless or painful to use

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Well Bren, thats one of the things I looked for over the years, but when you are left handed it makes it even more difficult.

And your hands begin to harden.

I would like one of those actifry things. You only need a small scoopy thing of oil to cook your chips in and you can cook other things in them as well. My sister has one and she says its great.

I just forgot I'd really like for the family an ice cream maker. The kids love ice ream and would eat it everyday if they could. Would save me a fortune

The sad thing is that some people actually do believe that more stuff brings happiness

Indeed Alison, these days I buy few toys & those I do get are to make my tasks easier/more pleasant, while I can still split logs with a wedge 'n sledge I far prefer the splitter

I've got one, the ice cream is delicious but as you often use fresh cream in the recipes it isn't a cheap option.
