RE the bronze axe head, aren't they much older than medieval - like .......erm, Bronze Age?
Yeah, of course you're right.............just not quite sure what a bronze age family would look like. (upper class caveman?)
I remember from last year the woman had a big long wide skirt with what looked like a white pinny on the front.............come to think of it the child had a bakers cap, so probably victorian garb?
My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order
to present to him vegetables and all beautiful flowers.- Offerings of Thutmose III to Amon-Ra (1500 BCE)

Yeah, foolish of me to mix up Bronze age clothing with Victorian garb!

Just thought I would tangentialise my own thread...............who me........never!

I respect Pagan/Wiccan beliefs. They were what early man believed in the pre Christian era. I'm not sure I am 100% Pagan but I definitely have leanings towards it. Which got me wondering about Egyptian beliefs and Amon- Ra the Sun God being similar?
I wonder whether in the days of Tut-Mose III the general populace really believed in what the priests preached or whether because it was an oppressive regime, they just went along with it?

            Appologies for ramblings!

Just thought, it must be all this talk about moon gardening that's got me pontificating about the God and Goddess!

I like the idea of paganism as well, I feel there is a lot more going on in nature than I've ever felt in a church, just a personal thought.
