Wind when I'm lying in bed..............
I imagine the chimney stack blowing down and landing on me in bed. I have been known to move across the bed to the furthest corner away from the stack. Wouldn't make a happorth of difference to me being crushed but I can go to sleep knowing that I've done all that I can
Don't like heights either - but my bed's not very high.

Bits of my neighbours chimney blowing onto our property & flat roof extension.
I've told them it needs urgent attention, but they are not bothered....

Take care MrsW we've camped in some high winds and its scary how much the tent buffeted around we ended up with internal and external guy ropes.

That's bad, take photos of any debris & damage & maybe write to them & take a copy for yourself? I could never let that happen to a neighbour, some people are really selfish! Buildings insurance would cover damage I think, but they should fix their chimney,it would probably have to fall down & injure someone before action could be taken?

^^^^^^^^^^^I would also ask them for the name and address of their insurers. If you manage to get hold of that a quick call to them will see it sorted.
