I'm curious to know where people, who stay in such picturesque places, go on their holidays ?

                      • Well- L!dl in France have been getting it in the neck for wasting produce.
so- yesterday, imagine my glee at seeing some orchids ( last week's plants) reduced to...yup €1 each

there were 10 of them with huge orange stickers saying it's part of their 'waste not' principle.
I came home with 3 and so did my friend- leaving 4 more for other peeps.

                        * other Grapes in France - take note- there may be some brill plant offers coming up...

                        • Finally I had what I think is a brightish idea - we can't afford to have panel fencing put up (we need 9 panels) because they are hugely expensive and will cut out too much light so.....................as if Sooty had tapped me on the head with his wand..................Hey Presto a living fence of Budleia and Dogwood.. Plants now on order so next year no more grey mafia's peering through the kitchen window.

They must all be having to be waste aware as about a month ago in our local Lidl there were three different Christmas type products, and you could select one for free if you wished. We very much enjoyed our Stollen
