IMMH to oblige Nicos. It's a bit cold and grim today so the lambs are a bit cold and grim accordingly.

      • And this is Noisy (although my daughter says I shouldn't adjectivise women...)

        a) Shortly after resuscitation (test of a true shepherd that - disgusting)

        b) Demonstrating her will to succeed in all things sheep - lesson one escape from a secure field.

They do. In fact these are all a complete relief after doom and disaster Wednesday when I lost three lambs and a ewe despite everything.

                      • I had a happy morning on an adventure with my big bro - we met at the local station, hopped on a train most the way into Brum and ran the 11 miles back from the inner city - including running under Spaghetti junction - to the leafy suburbs via tow paths, cycle paths and 'green spaces' which linked up all the way back.

                        Heard a woodpecker too.

Edit: note that (in the interests of accuracy), it is only 6 miles from inner city Brum to Sutton Park, but then I ran 'the long way home' round it, in order to make the mileage up to target.
