              • It's been a FANTASTIC week for me! Off work *always a bonus* but spent loads of time on the allotment and got tons of jobs done, weather stayed dry and warm all week, had a lovely day birdwatching on Friday and, best of all, our new girl Nina (adopted 7 weeks ago) has really turned a corner with us and become SO much friendlier, relaxed, talkative, started playing with our other girl Lily and has even ventured outdoors to sit in the sun All we both want is her to be happy and relaxed (compared to how stressed she was in her previous home) so we're just over the moon!

Doing her version of Grumpy Cat this evening...normally she smiles when she's asleep!

                  • I am happy being bonkers.

Hubby was telling me there were some allotments near us and that even though it is winter they looked neglected. Straight away I stopped him as I felt the need to get a poorly allotment I do not need an allotment, I do not need a challange, I do not need more things to fill my time. I must not go and look.

I am glad I am not the only nutter about

                      • Seeing my Hubby spreading the contents of our dalek on the 'growing' beds in our garden.
I, however, want to call the police - that composter was filled 3/4 full, and now there's only about a foot of it. Someone's definately been siphoning it off. Only joking.
He us also talking about giving the lawn a first cut.
