Well not so much happy but laugh!
Ive been away for two days and son #1 has been home alone looking after the dog. I called him to check up to find him out of breath, "what are you up too?" I asked. His response was.."I locked myself out and just had to get climb in through the bedroom window, thankfully I could get onto the bay window roof via a garden chair" . I questioned why he didn't pop to our neighbours for the spare key! "Hmm, it's too hot to wear much, and I went out to the freezer to get an icecream in my boxers and nowt else" that'll teach him!

After all the digging, riddling, gradeing & raking of the front garden last year, we waited & waited & very little happened so thought the pigeons had eaten all the flower seeds, seems I was being impatient, the bee & insect friendly area now looks like ......

Mt SiL text to say her husbands cancer has been located in a muscle in his back. They believe they can operate on it and treat him with some more chemo to get rid of it all.

Just dug up 9lbs of spuds off 3 plants. My sister is coming up on Saturday to bring my birthday presents. She is going back with a load of spuds, some beetroot, courgettes, a couple of marrows and some rhubarb.

Another biggish job knocked off the mental 'to do' list The manky ole shed out front has been shrunk, spun, made good, and creocoted all in one weekend. Just cost a tenner for some astroturf for inside. So pleased we managed to get it sorted that quickly. Both the girls behaved over the weekend as well
