I drew back the bedroom curtains this morning and saw the garden bathed in sunlight, blue sky with a few wispy clouds, everything was calm and peaceful.
I felt I could breathe the moment in and absorb it - so I did!
Feeling happy and content. Life's good in my little world

The sun is shining brightly, hubby has polished and hoovered for me.
Turkey is prepped and going in the oven shortly, and kids are coming over.
Happy days - mind you I have tears in my eyes ref Mr George Michael RIP. I was hoping to marry him in my younger days - when he saw the light lol
Wedding anniversary, family calling, sun shining, being alive after 72 years, good health and hopefully another growing season to look forward to.

It's over for another year!!! The big day went off very peacefully, no fights or arguments and everyone went home happy and replete. I have even had thank you phone calls. Today is now designated a "me" day. I might not even get dressed and there's plenty of leftovers in the 'fridge.
After moaning to you all thought I'd post on this thread instead. So;
Good friends (including you lot!), my first ever batch of mince pies, rest of the family, soft snuggly children, dry winter days, bonfires, & that life can always give you an unexpected carrot

Just realised, the youngest Son moving out leaves me with a spare bedroom windowsill ripe for propagation!
