  • I haven't opened the curtains yet so I haven't looked at the weather. I missed the last night at the GR 'cos I was at a Planning Meeting, 1st TC meeting this year.

Today I have to rev my old laptop up as I need some photo's from it, walk the dogs, put all the stuff back in the cupboard under the stairs that I had to take out yesterday to find some legal paperwork.

Which reminds me, why do people say that if you haven't needed something for a year then throw it out. Some things have to be kept eg legal paperwork.

And find out when my dishwasher and washing machine are being plumbed back in. The dishwasher I can cope without even though I don't like washing up, but the washing machine is becoming somewhat urgent. The nearest launderette is a long way away.

    Good morning everyone.

      Morning all,
Slowly returning to normality and now it's time to start thinking about planning a holiday and some cycling challenges for the coming year...I have 2 bookmarked as possibles, both in the west of Ireland with one of 140km and the other 160km...still in the planning stage tho..
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

          • Good morning and we have a lovly bright and sunny morning here.
Flo, you got the weather we had yesterday, so dark and depressing.
Off to town this morning to buy some new bits for the bedroom as I am planning a change of colour scheme.
Have a good day all whatever you are doing.

            • Morning all,
That was another horrible night, meh, so windy and kept waking me up and then at about half two, a big gust blew and i thought someone had opened the front door, sounded just like it. So it freaked me out and i was awake for hours, i would have come online for a chat but the wind knocked out the internet. Well its another!!! holiday here, today is Day of The Kings, so going to take it very easy, might get my aubergines seeds going. Still so windy and forecast to be like this for the next 10 days

Hope you have a lovely day x

p.s good luck for today Jay

                    • Hello everyone and thanks for all your great advice. Finally, after some pacing about, I lifted the phone and made the call to my sister. All went well! We spoke for half an hour and have said we will meet up sometime in the future when things have gotten back to 'normal', whatever that is! Just wanted to thank you all for helping me make the decision to call her. I'm so glad I did!

Been to hospital again this morning and they've decided to try another steroid injection in a different part of my shoulder. If this one doesn't work then it'll have to be surgery.
