-3C here at the moment...lots of thick, heavy frost.
Really pretty...and the sun is just starting to peep over the hill making the trees and grass twinkle.
I'm hoping there is going to be a bit of warmth in the sun so I can get on with the weeding later .
Wood fire lit and crackling away...lovely!
I'll do some seed sorting first until it warms up a bit (any excuse eh?)

Dull and overcast up here but frost has lifted. Cold in the house today. Must be the wind direction. Indoor painting today methinks with frequent Vine breaks

Very cold this morning, might even need to put a shilling in the meter and turn the heating on! As Nicos says it looks very pretty from indoors, and that's where I will be staying until the mercury rises a few degrees

Morning all, it was sunny when I opened the curtains.
Stripped the bed, came down and put it in the washer.
Well, guess what - the sun has disappeared
Hopefully we will be getting it back, but it's flippin cold out there
I appear to have cracked the wholemeal bread thing, tastes great
Now to concentrate on the White loaf as hubby will not eat brown bread, however good I make it.
He is secretly pleased though as he is now allowed back in the bakers lol - not for long I hope.
Not too much going on here today, my potatoes are chitting beautifully in the porch, a constant reminder of what's round our corner.

I'm another one whos had a brief venture outdoors then decided its too cold so those Jerusalem artichokes can wait a bit longer before I dig them up.

Morning all. Very cold here. Parked the car as near as I could last night to try and protect it a bit more. Had Han up late last night with ear ache but seems to of gone this morning.
Ebaying this morning with my little helpers. A 10 minute job is going to take at least 30mins.

Brrrrr, so so cold here 9.30 and my garden is still white. I really wanted to get some jobs done on it this half term but I'm not going out in this!

Well, I'm getting our attic bedroom furnished after living here for 16 years!! My craft tables are down and the floor has been cleared apart from the OH spare bike that he uses on rollers up there. Problem now is, after I've paid for and ordered the carpet I've suddenly realised the roll of carpet may not fit through the door

Lots of frost and some ice on the water buckets but its all sparkly and crisp on the wood chippings. They smell of pine as you walk on them - really wakes your nose up

Front window frame rubbed down, dusted orf and painted. Dulux Quickdry. Touch dry in an hour and recoatable in six. Also done the top of the fireplace surround. Doesn't half make the rest of the surround look dull. Ahh well, I've started so I must finish. Coffee first though

We'll, I've ventured out washing on the line and half of one raspberry bed weeded. Why do I have a huge nettle right in the middle of the row that has spread - tried to dig it out last year
