Mornin all n'all n'all
Those look exceptionally respectable bottles of wine Hazel!...well done!
Are you pleased with the flavour?
Funnily enough my OH opened a bottle of our 'pink' elderflower champagne yesterday evening.
Having finally decided to give up booze for a few weeks , it was particularly bad timing for me...but I was a good gal and just had one sip.
Typical...absolutely delish. So worth making. Think we'll make more batches this year.
My tasks for the day? ...well , redesigning a small poster...phoning a few peeps and making appointments...collecting Hibou's prescription...checking up on a friend's new kitchen...quick visit to the post office to weigh a letter and post it...
Then...weeding in the afternoon once it's warmed up. I'm determined to get the Autumn clear up of the flower beds out of the way so we can concentrate on the veg plots.
Creating a new kitchen over the Autumn certainly had a negative knock on effect elsewhere in the house/ garden!
But oh so worth it!

Morning all Zero degrees but sunny so I can live with that. I was going out to clean the birdbath but maybe not while it's all frozen solid. Duh.
Yesterday was jam packed all day long. We had family round which was planned then 20 mins after they left and we were still tidying away, someone else turned up unexpectedly. Nice but threw the rest of the day out and I was so pooped I just crawled in bed last night. Still yawning.
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.
Nice to wake up to the sun but alas it is forecast for rain later. Got to do jobs around the house today so will not be able to continue my stump removal. For those of you at work I hope the day goes quickly for you, those that don't work enjoy the sunshine
So chilly and grey here today, weather forecast says we might have a drizzle or 2 the next couple of days, i hope so
Im off fighting a war against aphids today and i will win i am telling you Hopefully my seed parcel has arrived been itching to sow them and waiting patiently in not my thing, if it isn't it will a be a wasted trip into town.
Have a nice day, its friday
I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them
Morning, I do like how pretty and sparkly the garden looks only been as far as the gate for the milk up to yet but I should have put something warmer on.
Morning All! We had some overnight rain but only down to 2C - no frost
If it stays fine I'll have another path creation day. My plan is to split the random shaped fruit and flower beds into smaller beds with more paths. Then, I can tackle a bed at a time without feeling overwhelmed by it. That's the plan anyway!!
Enjoy your Fridays - its the weekend tomorrow. I think that's why Trip is so excited

Er - I think I probably will be, Nicos - it's a bit 'unexpected' at the mo. You can taste the blueberries (which I bunged in as an afterthought after it had finished fermenting), but not enough to say 'mmm, nice blueberry wine'
