I came home to Welsh cakes this evening!
They actually quite resembled your authentic ones.. although we have absolutely no Welsh connection.
Saying that we did holiday in Pembrokeshire..lovely place!

Love Pembrokeshire, had many a happy hol with mum, dad and pesky brothers as a kid. Beautiful beaches, and I can't remember it raining, although I expect it must've!!!

Bit latebut Happy St David's day from me n all.

Grafted in the kitchen all day and part of the evening. Had to dismantle breakfast bar and then make good the plasterwork underneath. It wasn't done properly to start with and sorting someone else's mess is always annoying. Anyway, mump over. Managed to get the door surrounds and skirtings painted, two coats. Dulux quick drying paint is really good, touch dry in an hour and recoatable in six. Relief knowing the fiddly bit is done .

Thought I had enough emulsion paint to do the walls but there isn't. Pound to a penny Dulux has withdrawn that one from its range . I'll find out tomorrow.

AP....I wonder if they can make up a batch of a 'colour match' for you?
Might be worth taking the tin with you.
Good luck!...that's the sort of thing that happens to us...buy bathroom tiles....need about 6 more...go back 4 months later and it's been discontinued!

Morning girls'n'all from a miserable, wet, hailstoney, windy, yucky Nestland.............I should be a weather forecaster......................hope it brightens up so I can get some bits done, I've got some Calendar photos that needs takin'............have a good one.

Morning all Sunny here at the moment - but not sure how long it will last. If it warms up a bit I shall get out and plant some snowdrops. I don't want to be out while it is too cold though so will wait and see. Bit of a wuss where cold is concerned. Hope everyone has a good day.

Morning all, I thought I saw the sun out when I got up. By the time I'd been to the bathroom it was gone.
Dull and miserable, but we are lucky down south that we haven't got snow etc
Had a right sloppy day yesterday, so must try harder today. A visit to the charity shop will fix that

Never had much planned for the day but options are fewer now.

Father in Law has taken a tumble today. He's 89!

Morning all. Cold and chilly here. Have been on taxi service for my dad picking him up from the garage. His break light keeps flickering on and off so he has managed in get it in to the garage straight away.
I have actually been awake since 4am again but ended up getting up at 5am as I couldn't get back to sleep.
Might see about seed planting again today.
