Evening all. Finally said goodbye to last house guest and have got back to normality again. I also got lucky being given a load more daffodils for free however I don't fancy digging them in yet until weather warms up a bit. All this zero degree is too chilly for gardening.
Also got a 10 amazon voucher for Mothering Sunday so am browsing to see what I could get. I've been threatened to spend it on myself and not on my daughter. Maybe a book or something.
Have a great night everyone
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.
Evening all
Had a nice restful day today, popped into town and purchased BFB and Growmore from 1 shop
Didn't even look at the seeds (wanted to though)
All this sitting on the hands is getting painful you know
Off out for tea, the local Indian restaurant does a 9.95 all in.
So that will be my dinner tonight with leftovers tomorrow. Happy days.
Have a good evening all
Sore throat has gotten no worse but I now have a blocked nose to go with it, Definitely coming down with something but still managing to plan for spring.
As a result had a lazy day around the house.....greenhouse that is
saying hello Been long time since I was here. Was going through my seed packets and have some grapevine seed packets with a few seeds left so prompted me to pop back on and see what's doing
It's been an awful day at work, but we won't dwell on that...
Several trips ferrying the kids about, then a quick trip to home bargains because apparently we NEED a tie die kit..
So on the way I'm explaining how funds are tight, we don't want to spend to much erg etc..
..then it happened,I left with a windowsill greenhouse, two packs of pots, peat pots, a scoop...
..and no,they didn't have any tie die kits! Haha!
I'll be spending the foreseeable future in the dog house.
Distinctly feeling under the weather this morning, might just end up going back to bed
Heavy overnight rain has stopped and the wind has died down but huge puddles everywhere. That said, it is definitely warmer this morning than of late. I had planned to go shopping for a new digging fork today but put that on hold.
Have a great day everyone and as Kevin suggests I probably have "Geezer Flu"
Morning you two'n'all from a wet, cold, blustery Nestland. As I'm up to date with most of my jobs I may have an easy day but then again I'd be like a caged animal so we'll see. Have a good one & speedy recovery GL.
