Poor us! He's not in the least bit bothered! Now he's waiting on the wheelie bin by the living room window, waiting for me to open the window. He couldn't possibly go round and use the cat flap.

When I was a kid we had a dog that knocked the door with the letter box - she used to just flick it with her nose once - it was a PITA..so we often ignored her, then she started doing the random knocks

Good evening
We've just been to a pub. And it was in walking distance! We had a pint then came back to the hotel for our tea. Was going to have tea in the pub, but there were to many people and they had the audacity to be enjoying them selves!!! I've turned into a very antisocial old bat living on that island.

Had a very enjoyable and dare I say fulfilling day today...
Really enjoyed the outing to the school and the students were very impressive and good fun to help out..
Hope to do it again....

Go on Trip, tell us what you're watching....I'm a bit like SP where it comes to TV. I have just semi- watched a programme on Nicole benedetti ?? The violinist, that was quite good but I often loose interst in films.son no2 is the same. Telly off now and I'm really enjoying the peace but OH would love to watch a film. I find most of them rubbish I like the Bourne films, billy Elliot and love kids films too superman, xmen etc. I hate anything "period" anyone seen wearing a top hat or a crinoline gets switched off....

We are watching Prince of Persia..not too taxing on the brain and sounds great in surround sound

evening all. Had a day with no decorating - can't say I missed it. Weather not brilliant out with showers for most of the day but the rain is getting warmer . Went for my abdominal aortic aneurism scan this afternoon. Never actually been in that hospital before and what a problem I had finding that department.

Anyway, no sign of any symptoms of an aneurism so I can breath a sigh of relief at that. A neighbouring plotter died after an aneurism burst several years ago. Undetected, they are a ticking time bomb so really good news that the Health Service up here is being so pro active in terms of detection.
